HISTORY
Over a Decade of Excellence in Christian Education
The mandate to include spiritual and moral instruction to our children is one commanded multiple times throughout the Word, and the lack of diligent, consistent spiritual education has played a key role in the crises affecting our culture in the United States. Pastor Bo Kreller, after serving a term on a local school board and witnessing firsthand many of the various decisions and policies in place in the modern US education system, decided to found River of Life Christian Academy as a private K-12 Christian school focused on providing an alternative education option to the Back Mountain area, with Pastor Shane Kreller joining the school's staff in 2017. After 7 years of tremendous growth, during which ROLCA became one of the largest private Christian schools in Luzerne County, Pastors Bo & Shane Kreller decided to found another Christian ministry organization alongside a new ministry team and Board of Directors.
This organization, Cornerstone Fellowship Ministries, was founded with the goal of once more providing high-quality spiritual, moral, and academic instruction to children across Luzerne County, with CFM's first ministry being Cornerstone Christian Academy, a PK12 private Christian school. After starting the 2022-2023 school year with 34 students, CCA has grown to serve over 100 students and their families as of the 2024-2025 school year and is currently the largest evangelical Christian school in the Back Mountain area. Most importantly, CCA's student body receives regular spiritual instruction to grow deeper in their walk with Christ, moral education to reach a more profound understanding of what the Christian walk entails, and vigorous academic training to prepare them for college or advanced training and a career that will enable them to provide for themselves and their families.
